Dejlig er jorden – Christmas Concert 2026
On 20 December 2026, at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, you can experience the Christmas concert Dejlig er jorden at MCH Herning Kongrescenter. Look forward to a festive and atmospheric concert featuring choirs, a soloist and musicians coming together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas.
Dejlig er jorden is Herning’s beloved Christmas concert tradition, returning to the theatre hall at MCH Herning Kongrescenter with two performances on the same day – at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
The concert features singers from Herning Church Boys’ Choir and MidtVest Girls’ Choir, accompanied by an expanded Ensemble MidtVest. This year’s featured soloist is Isabel Schwartzbach, while Jens Jacob Tychsen guides the audience through the concert’s stories and musical journey.
Magnificent choral works, familiar melodies and beautiful arrangements set the scene for a Christmas concert where music and storytelling come together. Designed as an experience for the whole family, the concert continues a cherished Christmas tradition in Herning.
Both performances are expected to last approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, including an interval.
